I called with a dishwasher issue not draining & they came to the rescue early the next morning. Tech was on time, evaluated the situation, & solved the problem of a blocked drain tube instead of a new overflow valve that was that was diagnosed initially as needing to be replaced. Very honest tech = happy customer experience!! Thanks

David arrived on time and got to work right away. While wrenching on one of my appliances, he shared his knowledge regarding strengths and weaknesses of the most popular appliance brands. Definitely an eye opener.. Labor costs are very reasonable. Before he left I requested a business card magnet. Definitely calling 5star if any other appliance stops working.

I have used Five Star appliance repair twice and both times they responded in a timely fashion, diagnosed the problem and for a fair and reasonable price either recommended the correct course to take. In the first visit they said a repair was not feasible and to replace the old range for a service call fee that was fair for coming out and finding the problem, a broken mother board that was no longer available to replace. The second call they correctly determined that my ice maker needed to be replaced since the heating element had failed and was causing water to run out of the freezer. They found the replacement and installed it again for a fair price. I recommend their fast, fair, honest service for appliance repairs.

Made an appointment online at 7pm for the very next day. The next day 30 minutes before my appointment Technician Michael called letting me know he was en route. He diagnosed my problem ordered the part and installed it the very next day. This was by far the best experience I have had with an appliance repair company. Great communication! On time! Friendly! I called in my service request late in the afternoon and 5 Star had a technician out first thing the next morning. He was polite and efficient, testing the washer quickly and identifying the primary control board as the issue. He was also helpful in suggesting I verify that my warranty had expired, which it hadnt. His analysis was confirmed when Samsung sent a technician out to do the warranty service, bringing the recommended PCB with them. I will call 5 Star back for any other appliance issues I encounter.

I had the pleasure of being assigned David as my technician when I discovered my dear 20 year old fridge was dripping water into the ice maker in the freezer. 5 Star Appliance scheduled David promptly for me, David came out in the early part of the 2 hour window, and left with time to spare! He was thorough, knowledgeable, handsome (yes, that matters!) and efficient. At the end of it, I felt so taken care of and no anxiety whatsoever about being ripped off, which we know in most industries like these, can leave you feeling distrustful. Shared his insights about the repairs and explained the need for the parts I purchased (impacted inlet valve) and did not gatekeep information. Great technician, thank you again, David. You turned my Friday around!
